Safety centre
Safety, on every job
Letting someone into your home — or entering a stranger's home to work — takes trust. Here is exactly how we protect both sides.
Before the job
- Every cleaner passes manual identity review with a government ID and live selfie.
- Cleaner profiles show real ratings, completed job counts and verification badges.
- Clients verify their phone number and email so cleaners know who they are visiting.
During the job
- Live GPS tracking shows the cleaner's approach in real time, with the cleaner's explicit consent.
- A status timeline records assignment, travel, arrival, start and completion.
- Before and after photos document the state of your property.
- A digital signature confirms completion on site.
If something goes wrong
- Stop the job and contact support immediately from the booking screen.
- File a dispute within 48 hours with photo evidence — escrowed funds are held until it is resolved.
- For any threat to personal safety, call 999 or 112 first, then report to us.
Safety tips for clients
- Secure valuables, cash and documents before any cleaning visit.
- Confirm the cleaner's name and photo in the app at the door.
- Keep all communication and payment inside ONDUTY so there is a record.
Safety tips for cleaners
- Only accept jobs through the app so your arrival and departure are logged.
- Never accept off-platform cash requests — you lose payment protection.
- Decline unsafe tasks such as exterior high-rise windows or handling unlabelled chemicals.
- Use the stop-sharing control the moment your shift ends.
