Finding a cleaner you can trust in Nairobi has always relied on word of mouth. Clients worry about who is entering their home; cleaners worry about being paid at all. We built ONDUTY CLEANER to remove both worries with verification, transparent pricing and escrow-protected payments.

Every shilling a client pays is held until the job is confirmed complete, and every cleaner on the platform has passed identity checks before taking their first job.

Our commitment to cleaners

Cleaning is skilled work. Cleaners on ONDUTY set their own availability, keep the large majority of every job's value, build a public reputation that travels with them, and get paid on a predictable schedule.

Through ONDUTY Academy we also fund training in chemical safety, surface care and customer service.

Where we operate

We are live across Nairobi and its surrounding towns — including Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Lavington, Kileleshwa, Ruaka, Syokimau and Thika Road — and are expanding to Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru.

How we make money

ONDUTY charges a platform commission on each completed booking. That commission funds cleaner verification, insurance groundwork, customer support, dispute resolution and the technology itself. The exact commission is published in our fee schedule and shown on every invoice.
